Our berth for the weekend...


We had high hopes of a round of chantey singing around a roaring fire, alas, the weather did not cooperate.


The galley was well stocked, you ne'er seen such an array of victuals and grog.


The good Quartermaster going stealth pirate (who knew he could do it?)

As you can plainly see, it twas not a becalmed day at the shore.

After doing our duty, we retired to this find for a warming cup and a savory for the sweet tooth...Captain Dan's Pirate Pastry Shop


This was taken the morning we left to return to our home port, it was still blowing and blustering, I fear the squall not be over yet.

Beach Cleanup~Pirate style

1st house is now full. If you haven’t RSVP me yet, I need to hear from you no later than 1st Friday March 6th, so I can arrange for another house.

When: March 28th 2009, 10am – 1pm

Where: Gleneden Beach

Who: You!!

Details: You may come down for the clean up or for the week end. We rent a house at Bella Beach (3 miles N of Depoe Bay) for Friday and Saturday nights for those who wish to indulge in a bit of grub, grog and hot tubbing after. Cost for the house is $65.00 per person, this covers BOTH nights, you will also need to BYOB and add to the communal galley. Day trippers are welcome to join us for lunch after the clean up.

I am preparing to rent the house for the Beach Cleanup Weekend and as such I need a confirmed headcount to be sure we have a place big enough for all of us. There is limited parking available at the houses so if you have space or need a ride, be sure to speak up so that we can coordinate to get all folks to the beach who wish to go.

We Pirates lend style and panache to every event, but some are more deserving of our presence than others. We did this back in the spring of 2007 and had a grand time. (see photos below)
